  1. Pace yourself Scarlet and have plenty of breaks. You've had a tough and busy time recently. xx

    1. Thanks Sooze. I have an awful feeling that things are going to get a whole lot worse/ busier.
We won't be starting it yet as we need to pack the youngsters off to the caravan out of the way while we do it, and my son in law keeps having his shifts altered/ rest days cancelled.
I chose the darker colour on the right so now have the paint and wallpaper. I've found taps and replacement shower seals at a good price, meaning there's now enough money left in the budget for a radiator cover too.

You need to put yourself first sometimes or you'll just be too ill to look after anyone else. Best wishes.

    1. Thanks Joan. I do try, but sometimes it's difficult and there's no choice but to keep on keeping on.

    1. I'd love to have the time and energy to get it done like I used to! I'm trying, but I'm fairly certain that I'm heading into a situation where that's going to be very difficult.

  4. I love either of those green colours and hope you can get a chance to use the paint etc soon. Our children go back to school on Thursday next week as the finished in late June. I can then meet my friends who have been on grandparent duty for the last seven weeks. Catriona

    1. Thank you. I hope so too, but the house never seems to be empty these days! Our little one will have 30 hours with the childminder from September, and I was so looking forward to having more time, but I think it will be taken up with more hospital appointments/ caring.
