Positives #42 More ticks

I'm a bit under the weather today but have still managed to do a couple of things off my list.

I'd started oiling it before I remembered to take a photo. You can see the difference between the oiled top half and unoiled bottom. Yes, the skirting are dusty... I need to move the bureau, dust, wash and paint them but was in no fit state to do that today.

Much better. All the uneven patchiness has been covered and it's gleaming again.

Just after Easter last year I bought a battery operated 'Easter tree' with egg decorations for the little one, and used it at the caravan this year. 

I thought it would be nice to use it for Autumn so I bought some felt weeks ago to make decorations, and I finally got round to making a template and cutting them out this afternoon. I obviously placed the brown ones better than the orange as I got another pair from the same sized square!

I have 5 orange pairs and 6 brown pairs and will stitch the lines on while watching TV in the evenings. I'll bring the tree back from the caravan this weekend and hopefully it won't be long before I can put it up and tick ' make pumpkin decorations ' off my list.
