It took ages, and it is not perfect, but it's so much better than the old stuff. For a first attempt, in an awkward room with a toilet, a soil pipe and numerous angles to fit round, I think I did quite well.
I've also painted 2 more doors and frames, and some skirting, so that's 6 doors and frames down, 1 door and frame and about 4 feet of skirting to go.
