| No filters needed. We made the most of a glorious September afternoon |
After rain all of Friday night after we arrived, and all day on Saturday, today dawned bright and sunny so we made the most of it. There aren't many more weeks until we close up for the season.
In other news:
We're still awaiting my mum's results to see if she has cancer; nothing moves quickly. The COPD nurse is in the same situation with one of her parents.
I'm thankful that mum's COPD check up went well.
I'm still battling with the ED, and so sick of the 2 opposing voices.
We're thankful our son in law wasn't more badly injured when he fell running a race on Ben Nevis yesterday.
We're thankful our other son in law got through another week of policing unscathed... that isn't always the case.
We're grateful for our Welsh bolthole.
I've painted the bathroom, and it's going to look amazing!

We need to learn ok for anything to be grateful for in trying times. Your beach walks seem to give you life.
ReplyDeleteThe beach walks are definitely balm to my soul. It really is my happy place.
DeleteI'm trying to think of three things to be grateful for every day - but some days that's definitely harder than others!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Joan, though I'm very aware that it's a first world problem. Watching the news makes me very grateful for the life I live and the choices I have and makes me aware how fortunate I am, though I also try to be kind to myself and acknowledge that I can still feel upset/ disappointed at things happening to me. It's a balancing act!
