Positives #47 Stitching

Embroidered and stitched together with some stuffing from an old cushion to pad it out a bit

I finished the pumpkins 2 weeks ago whilst at the caravan and hung them on the tree there. When I looked at it I decided that I'd rather have some leaves with it instead of the brownish coloured pumpkins I'd cut out.

This morning I refashioned the pumpkins into oak leaves and embroidered them ( both sides are the same embroidery), and so far I've stitched 3 together, adding a hanging loop as I went. The actual colour of them is somewhere between the 2 different colours shown on the photos. 

All the stuff was from my small stash so they've only cost my time.

However, I am tempted to buy a piece of  dark brown felt and make some differently shaped leaves to fill up the tree.
