My lovely wallpaper has been stripped off. Lining paper has been hung and will be painted cream like the other walls, ceiling and woodwork.
Furniture is being disposed of.
The fitter will measure for a new carpet at the beginning of March.
It's all becoming very real now, but today a potential spanner was thrown in the works, so things may be delayed.
Medical tests are booked, and for once, they're not mine.
