Bodnant

On one of the occasions that we were at the caravan last month we went to Bodnant Gardens. We'd previously been in Summer and Autumn and were keen to see what Spring was like there.

Oh my word. We were not disappointed...

Daffodils as far as the eye could see. It was so beautiful that it stopped me in my tracks and brought tears to my eyes. My photos definitely don't do it justice.

The deckchairs weren't in the meadow at our usual lunch spot, but we climbed to the top of the hill anyway and sat on the bench to rest, eat, and enjoy the view.

The laburnum arch in late Spring/ early Summer is spectacular, but, for me, the daffodils surpass it.

I can't wait to be fit and well enough to be back at the caravan, but in the meantime it's being used by K and A as they grieve for Bold.

He was their boy.
