I ate 3 'proper' meals yesterday; recognisable meals that required crockery and cutlery.
I ate weetabix with almond milk for breakfast
For lunch I ate homemade soup, and 2 rice and corn cakes ( left out of the packaging all morning so that they would soften so I could manage them with my sore mouth) with tuna pate
For dinner I ate smoked salmon and 2 scrambled eggs
That sounds healthy doesn't it?
Fibre in the cereal, plant milk fortified with vitamins, veggies in the soup, plenty of protein, a ' normal' sized breakfast, a large bowl of soup for lunch, with accompaniments, and a tasty tea of 2 eggs and a full 100g packet of smoked salmon.
Unfortunately, My Fitness Pal tells me that I only consumed 687 calories, despite eating 3 recognisable meals.
At no point was I hungry yesterday, nor am I hungry this morning, which makes it even more difficult to eat. Eating when I wasn't hungry made me fat for 30 years, and made me gain weight during ED therapy.
I'll keep trying though; I've had the same breakfast today, and a tangerine. Yesterday I roasted a ham and some vegetables so those will feature today.
In other news, I had a doctor's appointment at 11am as it appears I may be starting with sinusitis... on Monday night I finished the antibiotics prescribed by the dentist, and this morning I have a headache, pressure in my sinuses and pain in that area on the side the tooth was removed.
Apparently the doctor can't tell if I am starting with sinusitis or a dental abscess, despite the fact that I now sound nasal and have symptoms of sinusitis. He has given me a 5 day course of some different antibiotics, and insisted I ring the dentist to be seen sooner than next Monday, which I did. The surgeon is only in on Mondays, the antibiotics will last until Sunday night, and if I get worse I need to go to A and E. I hope that's not necessary, as it's taking 2 days to get a bed in there at the moment!

Your meals do sound quite healthy and as a lot of veg, likely lower calorie than might look like. I hope you get right treatment soon.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed it is actually sinusitis and that the antibiotics will relieve the symptoms.
