The long border is glorious at the moment. All of the Spring bulbs came from the half plot at the allotment when we gave it up at the end of 2023. I spent hours going through every square inch of our woodland area with a trowel to find them all, and then transplanted them.
It's been an incredibly busy and stressful day, but I spent a little time in the front garden this afternoon, hoeing and weeding, and my soul was indeed revived.
