I had a really good day in Liverpool yesterday. The trains were on time, I danced, and laughed, and was just me for the day: not wife, not daughter, not mum, not grandma.
My joints are hurting today, and I'm tired after such a long day, but it was fun, with no responsibilities, which was much needed.
Good for you. We all deserve to just be ourself. My new retirement is not going how I hoped,but my priority is my brother and kids. But soon, I will treat myself to a run away day. ( Not that you ran away..just calling it that for me.)

DeleteI think we all need to get away from it all every now and then and just be "me".
